13a V -4 - Examinations show that the service employees have a very unfavourable influence on the health status. Of the service workers, only a small proportion of them are in the sick status, while the medical status of the family workers is 3 to 5 %. The level of sickness of married women who are not covered by their own health insurance as family members of insured persons is particularly high, and the high level of health of those who are obliged to work is undoubtedly due to the fact that these are persons living in work. Most of the insured persons who have been obliged to work in the office or as civil servants prior to the obligation to perform their duties are now employed as manual workers. In accordance with the applicable regulations, they are usually looked after by the insurance institution responsible for them prior to their obligation to carry out their duties. This is either the health fund of the public servants or the health insurance institution of the private employees. The health fund for the public employees knows no control at all of the sick insured persons. In contrast to the insurance of the district health insurance institutions, the health institution of private employees has the right of free choice of doctor. Furthermore, the inspection service of the sick insured persons at the health insurance institution of the private employees is not so much aimed at persons working as manual workers but at employees. This situation certainly favours the unjustified celebration of illness. The same is the case with women who are obliged to work for work and who are not checked as family members in the event of illness at all. It is therefore planned to insure in principle all those who are required to work with the health insurance companies responsible for the compulsory service. The dependent spouses are to be insured with the same health insurance funds if they are employed more than 4 hours a day. 3.) Recovery campaign l944 "Reinhard Heydrich legacy". The insurance institutions will pay for the recovery campaign 1944. Since the recovery action will be substantially expanded in this year, the insurance institutions will be heavily burdened. In the case of the Central Bruder- lade, the insurer for the miners, the tasks for the recovery operation will be about half of the amount available for healing procedures. - 5 -
