STATE SECRETARY FOR THE RUSSIAN PROTECTOR IN THINGS AND IN MORAVA, PRAGUE, inv. 1904, sig. 109-5/132 (damaged)
English Translation
6.) On 4 December 1941, at my invitation, the General Building Inspector 'Pg. Speer' visited Prague with his wife. An in-depth tour of the city and its surroundings formed the basis for an in- depth discussion of the construction plans of Prague, which led to a complete change in the plans for the construction of the new building, while the plans to redesign the former city were left in large numbers. I may give an oral lecture on this subject on occasion. On this occasion, a so-called "Devil Pact" was concluded between the General Building Inspector and the Stellv. Reichsprotektor, which is reported in more detail orally. The General Building inspector receives 15,000 trained and unskilled construction workers for the provision of his creative structural forces until spring. The further details of this agreement refer to the period after the end of the war. As Appendix 6, a newspaper section from a Czech newspaper about this visit is added. 7.) On 5.12.1941, the deputy Reichsprotektor received a peasant delegation in the context of the structural planning, which gave the declaration attached as Appendix 7-a. My reply is as Appendix 7-b beige, while Annex 7-c contains a newspaper clipping with pictures and a reference to the Czech press. I should like to draw particular attention to this reply, since it contains a clear overview of the very difficult grain situation of the Protectorate.
