After the end of a few days I give below a short report on the situation and measures in the Protectorate with the request for submission to the leader. The German population regards the change and the various measures as a relief, except for some reactionary, noble and Czech-spisped circles as well as isolated from German civil servants and Wehrmacht circles. The Czech population also takes up the various measures - according to the different occupations - differently. The labour force is most relaxed and the measures described in detail in the next report will have an even more beneficial effect here. The average is fearful and intimidated; the intelligence and the chauvinist circles are holding back, but some careless statements show that their hatred of all Germans is hardly to be surpassed. However, they fear a further disimation and therefore with regard to the stop-parols of the English radio broadcast largely hold back.
