News clippings from NAENN DAY V2 Date1ZX. No. 288 1941. oe Schieber und Saboteure (LBM.) Prague, 16. OftOber. Zu den am 15. In October 1941, the death sentences handed down by the judges in Prague and Brno were notified by the competent authority: Jaroslaus Benes, Mühlenbesisser from Mol dautein, who was already presumptuous because of radio broadcasts, took advantage of the extra-ordinary stocks which had been overtaken by the state of war and bought larger quantities of grain black for wage grinding. It has been established that a total of 351,297 kg of grinding products were delivered to Beneš in black. Beneš has also been guilty of tax evasion, black slaughter of pigs and of significant price overruns. In this way Beneš was irresponsibly responsible for the proper supply of milling products. Josef Dlouhý, editor from Prague, and Franz Dvorák, police guard from Prague. have listened to the broadcasts of English Nund radio stations together and used the content of these broadcasts to produce large quantities of leaflets of anti-German Jnhalts. They then divided them into the defensive and thereby consciously contributed to the fact that a large part of the population was disturbed and put up by false slogans. Karel Felen, a stud worker from Kladno, listened to the broadcasts of English radio stations until the last days and communicated their contents to his workmates. His behaviour was capable of calling to rest among the workers of the company in which he was employed, as well as a strong mistrust of the German state leadership and thus leading to a significant disturbance in the peace of work. Josef Kolischek, insurance official from Ung.Brod, Vaclav Smid, Erpedient from Ungeg. Brod, Bladimir Gajdos, Krastfahrer from Tesch-now and Vaclov Luhan, teachers from Ung.-Brod. were important functionaries of a Czech Wi- derstandsgruppe, which together formed a terrorist organization in Ung-Brod. Although the judges were aware of their reprehensible and persuasive handling, they partly carried out their planned sabotage operations through Coliscbak 8.
