Prague, on 2.0ktober 1944. File memo The boys of the former 6th class of the German High School for Boys, Prague II., Stephansgasse, who were used as air force workers in Upper Silesia, returned to Prague on Saturday, September 30, 1944 from their place of operation. They were divided into two batteries at Hostiwar. Shortly before their departure from Upper Silesia, they were awarded the Flak-Kampfabzeichen / which is worn on the Aermel; they should be the only air force helpers in Prague who wear this badge. The boys are very proud of their commitment in Upper Silesia and the commendation given to them by their last commander, as well as the awarding of the Flak badge for their active commitment. During the time of their assignment in Upper Silesia / from end of June to end of September/ the boys received only sporadically: once by a teacher from Olomouc, who had to return to his school after a short time and a few days by a non-commissioned officer / teacher/, but who was transferred again. They have received the certificate of departure of the Sixth and the transfer to Septima has taken place. Parenthood, which is of course very pleased with the return of the boys, hopes that the Junes here in Prague will again receive a regulated school lesson, as it is intended for the Air Force helpers. It was generally welcomed with great gratitude that the parents were repeatedly told of the great interest that dea Deutsche Staatsministeriu expressed in the recovery of the boys to Prague, both at the Flak regiment in Bohemia and at the Ministry of Education.
