Relation between the Reich Government and the Protectorate Government. The status of the protectorate government under the state law is determined by the decree of the Führer and Reich Chancellor of the Protectorates of Bohemia and Moravia dated 16.3.1939 (RGBl3/p. 485). According to this, the protectorate is autonomous and manages itself. Its sovereign rights are largely limited by completely or partially withdrawing the exercise of individual sovereign rights and exercising the remaining sovereign rights only under the control of the empire and only for as long as the empire does not exercise these sovereign rights itself.
