English Translation
R.ZI. 1074-1939/40 Vienna, 7 February 1940. To the Wehrbezirkskommando Wien I, Vienna I, Biberstrasse. The assistant at the Lehrkanzel für Verbraumbungskraftmaschinen und Kraftfahrwesen, Dipl. Ing. Alexander Czernin has received a convocation order A, after which he returned to active military service on February 10, 1940. I request that the named person be released from military service until the end of the second trimester of the university. The teaching operation at the teaching pulpit for combustion engines and motor vehicles is currently in full swing. Among other things, design and laboratory exercises on combustion engines are held; the teaching cartilage board stands for this teaching out of Ing. Czernin is only one assistant available; the conduct of this 22-hour exercise is severely endangered, almost impossible if the teaching pulpit board were dependent on an assistant alone. Considering the particularly important importance of this teaching pulpite, an exemption of the Dipl.-Ing. Czernine seems all the more justified. Three U-applications are included.
