In the case of the A 1 b posts which I have requested, the term "superior councils" will continue to be used and the name "government director" will be used for this purpose. As my inspectors in their field, the Oberland councils are my governing and supervisory body for all Reich administrative authorities and autonomous departments. Its main task is to compensate for the reluctant interests of the various authorities and to ensure that the entire public administration operates in accordance with my uniform policy guidelines.
