The Secretary of State. 22 June 1943. st.s.269/43. 1.) To Mr. 23. VI. 1943 Reichsminister Graf Schwerin v.Krosigk, BerlinW8, Wilhelmplatz 1-2. Very venerable Mr. Reichs Minister ! The decree of the Lord Reich Minister and Chief of the Reich Chancellery dated 17 February 1943. - Sign Rk l809 C has led to considerable difficulties and hardships for the imperial offices set up in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, which have been discussed with and recognized by your clerks. I do not deny that improvements for the Protectorate may lead to appeals by other bodies and I am therefore prepared to return any derogations to the extent reasonable until further notice. In a particular case, however, I would like to make a strong commitment to the implementation of new posts and ask you not to take up my remarks: 8008A This is the very important school administration in Bohemia and Moravia, which has always occupied a certain special position. It is a part of the protectorate administration. However, the German teachers are only partially protectorate officials; the others are seconded from the old Reichsgebiet to the school service of the Protectorate and further Reich staff.
