Copy. Division I 2 I 2 a Prague, 3 May 1943. Subject: Orientation of the Reich and autonomous administration to the total war. 1.) Mr. State Secretary. In the annex I present the reports of the main departments and departments on the basis of the decree of 23 March 1943 - I 1 d - 6120 - on the available forces from the Reich administration and from the autonomous administration. The result of the reports is summarized in a list which is prefixed to the reports. Due to the recruitment and limitation of the non-war-important administrative tasks, 24 forces were made available from the Reich administration and 342 forces were provided for other use from the autonomous administration. This result can only be regarded as a provisional one, since the impact of the action, especially in the autonomous management at present. With the result in the Reichsverwaltung it must be taken into account that in the period from 1 Jan.1943 to 25 March 1943 138 forces were released for military service by the main departments and departments. Due to the confiscations to the Wehrmacht, these tasks to be terminated and to be restricted could only be carried out to a very limited extent before. The results of the autonomous administration must take into account the fact that, during the period 1 Jan.1943 to 25 March1943, 7,361 staff were made available for work by the ministries (except railway and postal administrations). As a result of these clearances, some of the tasks which have been identified as being terminated and restricted had already been severely restricted in the autonomous administration. e.g. Reischauer. 2.)
