After 1945 Jaromir Czernin declared that he had never applied for admission to the NSDAP. Furthermore, he stated that he received a telegram from Konrad Henlein in 1943, from which the expropriation of his property and a country reference would take place. A review of the respective archives by the provenance researchers could not confirm a Gauverweis, however, Jaromir Czernin was reported as having moved from Marschendorf to Altaussee from 15 April 1943. On 1 July 1943, it follows that "due to the fault of Jaromir Count Czernin-Morzin as the previous owner and manager [...], a number of serious misconducts were committed in the forestry business, which necessitated the elimination of the count as the managing director." It was therefore requested that a trustee be appointed on the basis of the regulation on the establishment and confirmation of the commissioner's head in economic enterprises (Regulation Gazette for the SudentenGerman territory, p. 149/1939). In a consultation with the President of the Government in Aussig, a donation to the children of Jaromir Czernin was suggested, "through which the possession of the German family of the Count is to be preserved."A draft of the gift agreement of Jaomir Czernin to his children from the first marriage is dated 19 April 1943, as a result various changes were discussed. Since the district court of Hohenelbe as guardian court had further concerns about the donation and in May 1944 further turned out that "a larger tax matter for years has been subject to the execution of this donation. A review of the land register for Marschendorf's rule revealed that the last entry from 1921 was still known as Aloisie Czernin and Rudolf Czernine (Jaromir Czernn's father, who died in 1928). It was also noted that Jaromir Ccernin was detained in the police prison in Linz from 22 August to 26 September 1944. One reason for the arrest could not be established; in any case, his arrest is close to the one on the assassination of
