The signed head of the Institute for Contemporary Studies at the German Charles University in Prague asks the German Minister of State in Bohemia and Moravia to grant him a grant in the coming financial year 1944/45 to continue his investigations into Bohemian-Mauritian press history and to prepare for publication. The undersigned refers to the documents submitted earlier and today in the annex sends a report on the work carried out so far in the research field mentioned above. The studies were supported by a grant from Reichenberg in the financial year 1943/44. The Gauleitung, the Gauselfverwaltung and the Gauverlag have granted together a sum of RM 6,000.--. The continuation of this grant is initiated and partly already accepted.The research is carried out in close cooperation with the Sudeten German Institute for State and People's Research and with the @auarchiv and is also supported by the German Academy of Sciences in Prague.
