Gntreerf -1 Prague, 1 July 1943 Mr. Reischauer, Councillor of the Supreme Government: Mr. State Secretary asks for the following clarification: According to the note of Division I/3 of 17.6.1943, a special department of the Bohemian and Moravian State Surveying Office is involved in the execution of important orders of the High Command of the Wehrmacht. On the other hand, the letter of the President of the Reichsamt für Landesaufnahme dated 25 May 1943 provides for the establishment of a calculation group Prague of the trignometric department of the Land Aufnahme. According to this, it may appear that a branch of the Office for National Reception was established in Prague, which only serves the institutions of the State Surveying Office. This contradiction should be clarified. On this occasion, the relationship between the Office of National Surveying and the Officefor National Reception is explained in more detail. 8V860
