- 4 - 2a It is noted that the officials of the Reichsarbeitsminister and Reichswirtschaftsminister, seconded to Prague, can at present act as commissioner of the commander-in-chief of the army against the two army groups and later as members of the departments of the Imperial Protector. It cannot be denied that these officials would be placed under the Reich's protectorship and that they would be included in his authority, and that the greatest restraint should be exercised in the secondment of officials to Prague. State Secretary Kö r n e r and the representative of the Reichsforstamt point to the need for the unification of hunting law and the adaptation of timber production in the Protectorate to the needs of the Empire. At the request of the representative of the Reichsfinanzministerium, it is stated that the German nationals in the Protectorate are subject to the financial authority of the Protectorates. It will still have to be clarified to whom the Reich officials employed in the protectorate have to pay their taxes.
