Message about the trip to Luhatschowitz from 28-30.III.l94l : On Thursday, 27 March, Mr. Blödel asked us to send a photo reporter on Saturday 29 March at Weisskirchen. Friday, 28 March: after lo o'clock Mr. Blödel changed his instructions in the sense that the photo reporter should not go to Teplitz, but to Luhatschowitz and report there to the camp commander Berger. RRU The next train left at l8.30 am and arrived at 24 o' clock in Brno. According to information provided by the train, the fun- ner was to travel by train from Brno to Luhatschowitz at 6.30 a.m. However, this train did not operate and the next train was not operated until at 2 p.m, so that the reporter arrived in Aujest at 6 a. m. From Aujest he drove by taxi to Luhatschowitz and registered with the camp commander Berger at 6:45 p.M. There he learned that it was probably photos of a survey by Gauleiter Baldur von Schirach, which, however, had already been taken by the camp, the camp commander had no interest, since the camp had already had been photographed. The camp commander explained that the fault was due to Prague, as the visit had been informed a week before. We ask that our photo reporter should be better informed in case of any next journeys. In addition, it is necessary for followers to write a letter of recommendation for each case, which would protect our picture reporter from various inconveniences during the journey, especially when looking for a night camp. As an example, we mention that our photo reporter must walk to Weisskirchen for an hour on foot during the reception in Teplitz to find a night camp.
