22 2. Delimitation of jurisdiction between the German Criminal Police and the Protectorate Criminal Police. (a) The jurisdiction of the German Criminal Police is given, (1) when finding an unknown corpse in a building, room or an installation serving the purposes of the Wehrmacht or a department of the Reich, the NSDAP or any of its divisions, (2) in the case of bodies found elsewhere, if (a ) any circumstances indicate that they may be German nationals or foreigners, (b) because of the injuries to the unknown dead, it may be assumed that one of the regulations justifying the jurisdiction of German criminal police (e.g. (b) In all other cases, the Protectorate (criminal) police is responsible; however, the German Criminal Police may intervene at any time by means of official supervision.
