81 - 3 - the "Association of Friends of Junak", approved by the State Office of Prague with decree No. 247/4 R.39 Odd. 19 of 21.4.1939. While the "Junak" is a state-wide association and the central association's activities are legally guaranteed, the local "associations of friends of the Junak" have the task of covering the activities of the individual Junak divisions. The "Junak" itself therefore does not maintain local groups, but rather forms the "association of the friends of the Junak", so that, for example, despite a dissolution of the main association "junak", the activities of the local groups could be carried on legally. The "Junak" association is a member of the individual boys and girls over the age of 18, while the "Association of Friends of Junak" covers the parents, friends, teachers and Junaken over the years. The "junak" Association works closely with the state authorities. He maintains a particularly good employment relationship with the Ministry of Social and Health Administration, from which he received extensive subsidies. Of the men today in the "Junak" the chief of the general staff Václav Vlček, who took over the position of leader (Náčelnik) after the death of the Junak creator, Prof. Svajzik, in 1938, is to be mentioned. Vlček is a Russian legionnaire and exerts the decisive influence in the association. It is also noteworthy that in January 1994 the former NG youth leader Franz S c h w a r z e n b e r g is called as chairman of the mental department of the "Junak".
