Copy . Order of the Reichssportführer. Berlin, 1 February 1942. The transport must be kept free during these winter weeks for vital transports to the Eastern Front. Reichsportführers of Tschammer and East have therefore made the following orders. 1. Sport events, including the NsRL championship games, as well as sports courses and sports meetings, for which journeys of more than 5o km are required in one direction, must be postponed for the month of February and postponed to a later date. The sport-area guides (Sportgauführer) are authorized to apply this order in accordance with their duties in border cases and to approve small overruns. 2. Local and neighbouring sports traffic as well as the corresponding training activities and meetings must be maintained during this period, if necessary by means of leadership measures.
