If the proper time has to be devoted to professional and extra-service sports, even during the war for the maintenance of health and for the tension, it is not to be answered, however, when sports trips are undertaken by Wehrmacht teams at representative times or as an outflow of the service of the troops, especially in the time of the high range in which every railway car is urgently needed for the fighting force. It is not allowed that today a football or handball team from Paris is travelling to a German city to compete against the city team in question. Likewise, no Wehrmacht club teams can and may enter the field (France, Holland, Belgium, Denmark, Norway in the Balkans) to compete in the most diverse areas of sport. The High Commands of the Wehrmacht parts are asked to prohibit, until further notice, all sporting competitions, competitions and events of the Y Wehrmascht (in the homeland and in the occupied territory) which require journeys of participants over 5 km by rail or other means of transport.
