(1) The possession of German nationality is largely dependent on the determination of German ethnic affiliation. As a result, outside the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, the authorities appointed to issue citizenship certificates and home documents (cf. RdErl. v. 15.4.1939- RMBliv. p.888) are hereby also declared responsible for the pestilence of the German ethnicity.Insofar as the RdArl. of 31 March 1939- RMBLIV. p.686- is opposed to this, it is repealed. (2) If a person takes on the basis of the German-Czecho-Slovak nationality and option mandate of 20 November 1938- RGBl. II p.895 or, the Ordinance on the acquisition of German nationality by former Czechoslovak nationals of German ethnicity of 20 April 1939- RGBL. I, p.815- the German nationality, and if the German ethnicity appears doubtful, the competent district leader of the party must be involved in the clarification.
