On 5.4. the Hptm. of the protection police S c h e n h t e had the non-commissioned officer of the government troupe Rudolf S l a c h from the 4th comp. of II.Batl., ID No. 'Ol382, had ensured because of gruesome refusal. The Wehrmacht authorized officer, having regard to the order given from here at the time, ordered that the Reg. troupe and the protective police to have a voluntary gruesome relationship, to hold the non-commissioned officer Slach to account. The Wehrmacht authorised representative takes this assurance to the effect that the relationship between the police and the government force has not yet been clarified. In letter Az. RTg No. l18/40 of 3.2.40, the Wehrmascht authorized officer has recently proposed a regulation based on a letter from the Secretary of State No. 2l7/b/39 of 2l.l0.39, where a voluntary greeting was ordered on the part of Mr. Staatsekre- tär. In the letter of the commander of the order police at the R.Prot. I a 32 00 of l5.l.40 was informed to the Wehrmacht authorised representative that there is no gruesome relationship between the German police and the Czech government force, that the relatives of the police and of the SS had only to thank for an offered greeting.
