Betr: Greeting obligation between the Schutzstauffel and the Ordnungspolizei on the one hand and the government force on the other. Preliminary note: The higher SS and police leader at the Reichsprotektor in Bohemia and Turkey No. St.S. 217 b/39 v. 21.10.39. The Wehrmacht authorised representative asks, on the basis of the above-mentioned letter, for the regulations which the SS order force had made regarding the voluntary grievance towards the government force in order to meet similar orders regarding the government troops. Of particular interest is the greeting form of closed formations and the greeting of standards and flags. For the Wehrmacht authorised representative the chief of the staff in general signature.
