2 St.S. V F - 1b/41. Prague, January 15, 1942. : Law firm puts on special sheet: Mr. Under-State Secretary. I hereby send the report for the month of November 1941, compiled by the Bohemian State Authority, to the satisfaction of my knowledge. The Secretary of State is interested in the section entitled "Agricultural situation" - because he sees first of all the state of sowing as an attempt to create a favourable starting position for the Czech farmer from the point of view of the future harvest result. The Minister of State has asked you to look into the matter, so that when discussing the tariff quotas from the Czech side - wrongly the argument of the bad debt is added as excusing. Then the Secretary of State would like to know whether the difficult work situation has indeed prevented farmers from spending time and whether the measures taken by the electricity stations in southern Bohemia have made it more difficult for them to do so. Finally, the Secretary of State would like to see the completion of the third pigmeat operation ensured by the 100 % increase in the amount of the potato quota, which is said to be too high. In addition to the "Prispol" association, the Czech Ministry of Agriculture must be in charge of this. Jch would be grateful if, in accordance with the foregoing, the report to the Secretary of State on the necessary measures were to be initiated. 3rd Council of Governors. 2) Wv. 15.2.1942 to the Signatory.
