I stress here that there is no legal obligation for this payment, but that it is carried out voluntarily in recognition of the performances of the opera in the past season in Prague.This payment also does not compensate for the previously unknown grant of the Reichsminister of the interior, whose procurement you had been promised at the time by the representative of the Imperial Ministry of People's Enlightenment and Propaganda, and for which you purposefully continued to strive.
