Se.Spartgemeinschaft - Prague Prague, 7 May 1942. Fachscmaft Reien-Abtlg. Kripo. Eutiounf- Kongept An SS-Sturmbannführer R a a b e in Pr a_g.XIX.2 SS-Reichsführersschule. Subject: SS-sportgemeine - Riding.- nze Previous discussions about organization. I hereby inform you that the riding training in the SS-Reitsportgemeinschaft department Kripo-Prag has progressed to the extent that the department was already able to do a ride in the tree garden. The Kripo department consists of 20 riders, of which 10 were beginners. The riding lessons of the Kripo department could only be carried out after the end of duty from 18.30 to 19.30 and mostly only with 3 horses, so that the riders could sit only half an hour and partly even less in the saddle. For this reason, the full training of the riders cannot lead to the desired objectives, especially since the service of the officials must not suffer because of the participation in the equestrian sport. It is therefore proposed that, if it is possible, a permanent riding school with about 15 horses be set up for the SS-reitgemeinschaft in Prague in one of the riding schools located on the tree garden for the summer months. Horses, horse keepers could be placed out of the Czech police, and the leadership and guidance of an experienced older cavalryman from the ranks of the SS are entrusted. The head of the riding school would have to regulate the classification of riding lessons. He must be concerned that every participant in the sports community will have to take the turn 18161 twice a week.
