On points 1 and 2: The Chairman and Vice-Chairmen shall be appointed and dismissed by the Imperial Protector of Bohemia and Moravia in agreement with the Head of the OBW in Berlin and after obtaining the critical consent of the competent sovereign authority of the NSDAP. The chairman directs the Federation in accordance with the guiding principle and takes all decisions in his own responsibility. He represents the Federation externally, in court and out of court. He is to be invited to all meetings which he does not convene. He presides at all meetings in which he participates. The Chairman is entitled to entrust other organs or members of the Federation with the performance of certain tasks. Decisions of the Chairman, as well as his decisions, acquire legal force through his signature. These decisions and all announcements of the Confederation and its organs are announced to the members by means of circulars. The Chairman shall be represented in the event of his or her failure by the Deputy Chairman. On item 3: The Managing Director shall be responsible for carrying out the measures ordered by the Chairpersons and for the performance of the administrative tasks necessary for the management of the Deutsche Reiterbund. 6
