16 copy. The Inspector General of the Administration of Prague, 14th Mainl943 Ministerial Councillor Dr. Heckel in H a u s e . Betr.: Complaints about the Captain of the Office of Raatz. Reference: Your letter of 6 May 1943, together with the annexes. I note the following with regard to the annexes to your letter above: I have not yet had the individual incidents shown in the "Decisions". However, I have already noticed a lot of this. First of all, it is not clear who made these transcripts. According to the cover letter of 27.4.1943 from the Government Director Prager, it seems to be reports, of which I also do not know whether they have been requested by the school inspectorate or have been reimbursed by the teachers themselves as complaints. In general, I cannot resist the impression that such reports are constantly required by the teachers by the school inspectorate, whose schools have just been visited by the speakers of the Upper Land Councils in Bohemia. Such behaviour would, however, constitute an attempt to cross the execution of the orders of the General Superior Daluege. The individual feud described in the minutes, even if it is readily assumed that they are correct, go only to some extent beyond the powers which the speakers of the Oberlandrat inspectors are entitled to. These speakers must, of course, have the right to ask questions both to teachers and to children. If such questions were not allowed, the speakers could not get an overview of the status of the children. In some cases, however, these transcripts only take place in general terms. With a twist, like "since Raatz came again in the Kastel class after a few days and immediately found complaints" you can not do much. There, where it is explained, Captain Raaitz "something demanded", is not without further certainty whether he has not only given a corresponding suggestion, which perhaps
