Prague, 29 September 1942.8 Note: Subject: Teacher exchange. In my preliminary speech at the party chancellor's office in Munich with Ministerialrat Krüger, I was informed that there were serious concerns about the wartime use of Czech middle school professors in high schools in the German territory. The concerns were less of a school nature, but more of a popular nature. In particular, the fear was expressed that some of these professors might want to remain in the old Reich area. My advice, too, that if one considers the Czech question as not yet ready to speak, this action could not be seen as a warlike operation within the framework of the repopulation efforts, but just as with postal workers, railway staff, doctors, etc., could not change the position of the party comrade Krüger. When I asked why he had given his approval to the exchange of teachers by telephoning the telephone, and when we finished the very extensive preparatory work during the holidays, he explained to me that he personally had no thoughts, but that he had his office. Finally, when I made it clear to him that the above action had the approval and support not only of the relevant bodies in the Protectorate, but also of the Reichsssicherheitshauptamt and the Reich's administrator Mhlly des NSlb, he meant to me that this was completely irrelevant. i..bryang P002/E3
