In my capacity as Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Russian History Archive at the Ministry of the Interior of the Protectorate, I have learned that in the near future a large part of the book and document existed, namely everything relating to the Russian army (including its remnants in emigration), the world war and the civil war, is to be removed from the army for the purpose of handing over to the German Army Archive or to its Prague department. This decision has caused great concern for all those who have contributed to the establishment and development of one of the few Russian institutes in the country with an undeniable national value. The Russian History Archive is an institution that has provided many of the most important representatives of Russian emigration in the hope of a better future with their powers and knowledge. The Russian History Archive has its rapid and successful growth as well as its development into a Central Institute of Russian Emigration, which literally attracted material from all areas of Enigrant Dispersion, to a significant extent thanks precisely to the scientific name, social influence and moral authority of these men. Many Russians have gladly and in many cases completely free of charge handed over to the Arehiv in the difficult relations of the emigrant life only among the greatest efforts, in the hope that it will be there until the time when it can become a general national good, -8
