Proposals for the effective fight against sabotage, strike and possession of weapons in the Protectorate. I. Lage. In recent weeks, the political situation in the Protectorate has become more and more perceptible, particularly in the case of a sharp increase in sabotage, increasingly frequent strikes and in cases of Ssde n de pn cases. The reasons for this development are primarily to be looked for in the recent resurgence of the Czechs, who, due to their generally anti-German attitude, the waiting attitude of the protectorate government, the strong hostile radio propaganda and, in particular, a leaflet propaganda, which can hardly be effectively combated with the existing forces of the secret state police, are confidently expected to be subject to the German Wehrmacht. In the broadcasts of the enemy radio and in the leaflets of illegal communists, sabotage is called in very detailed form and this invitation is being followed in the last few weeks in ever-increasing numbers. Similarly, strikes occur almost daily, which, although they have not yet taken on a particularly serious character and express certain not entirely unjustified demands of the workers in terms of food supply and wages, are basically also due to the instructions of the hostile and communist propaganda that flooded the Protectorate. There is also a growing number of cases in which Czechs use the gun or, at least, have a gun ready to fire. There is no doubt that this has begun a development, particularly in the field of sabotage and strikes in the coming weeks and in the growing food shortages.
