The work on the practical implementation of the decision of 23 September 1940 on the marriage of German nationals and members of the protectorate is now completed. In order to prevent mixed marriages between Germans and Czechs, which are undesirable because of the ressian inferiority of a part, a marriage certificate was introduced for the Czech part. The decision on the confirmation of the marriage certificate and thus the approval of the divorce is taken after obtaining suitable documents for a racial, hereditary, character, political, national and social assessment. Because of the particular difficulty of the decision and the far-reaching consequences, I have reserved for the protection area for the first time the decision for each individual case of marriage. The same has been done by the female imperial pinister for the territory outside the protectorate. A written declaration of both parts ensures that the children are brought up in German and sent to German schools. The additional fat supply for the German population in the Protectorate has been introduced with effect from April 1st. It must be granted in Forn of Margarine, as butter from the Reich is not available. This means that in spite of these politically not insecure and technically very difficult special measures, the German still receives only 70 g butter in 4 weeks. In the field of labor, everything is done in agreement with the Prague Armaments Inspection in order to meet the growing demands of labour supply.
