STATE SECRETARY FOR THE RUSSIAN PROTECTOR IN THINGS AND IN MORAVA, PRAGUE, inv. 1781, sig. 109-5/9
English Translation
42 - 8 - A word about the German administrative organization in Protectorate! It would mean mutually strengthening the positions of the Germans and weakening the position of the Czechs, if the so-called German linguistic islands were to be dismissed from the supervision of the German government in municipal and state terms and placed under the office of the Lord Reich Protector, so that to some extent they became immediatly rich. It is obvious that the consequent elimination of the entire Czech bureaucracy would give the linguistic islands a purely German character in the shortest possible time, and would thus serve as a starting point for the loosening up of neighbouring Czech areas and their Kentality. Finally, it would be desirable if the Old Kingdom were to place as young as possible active forces in the Protectorate for all areas of life and subject matter, as well as to promote purchases of land, commercial companies, etc., through the use of capital-strong, professional and ideologically reliable people and party enjoyment and if finally the idea that the Protectorates for the Old Reich German was a too dangerous zone of life would be cleared up.
