80V - 2 - It is of the greatest importance that the stiffening of the anti-German syllabuse is spreading more and more to the Czech workers. The main reason for this is obviously the further deterioration of the food situation in the protectorate, which is mainly due to the exceptional potato quantity, while at the same time reducing the scarcity and quality of bread and flour and reducing it. In the case of potatoes, we have already started grubbing up the unripened medium-early and late potatoes and have made deep intervention in the livestock for meat supply.) As a direct consequence, many industrial and agricultural farms in the Protectorate are experiencing an increasing unemployment and, in some cases, a significant decline in performance. Since August 1st, temporary stoppages of work have occurred in 12 cases, including in factories of war, which have been soberly justified by the food situation. The examination of the individual cases showed that the actions brought by the workers had to be considered partly justified. The danger of further strikes is therefore present in the extremely effective enemy agenda and in the continuation of the poor supply situation despite the respective state police proposals against the ringleaders. In addition, there has been an increasing willingness among the workers to observe the sabotage instructions given by the enemy broadcasting; in the last four weeks, there have been various sabotages, particularly the cutting of numerous perforations cables and brake hoses on trains, the damage to machines, the laying of fires (in one case, for example). 1 ooo.ooo 1 petrol) - 3 -
