(b) Combating by means of measures on the receivers. The shortwave jamming action is covered in the Protector's CooCa otoora C c c c ca. If 80% of the equipment is expected to be used for shortwave reception, approximately 510 O00 radios remain, which can be used to record enemy broadcasts on shortwave. These are not to be grasped with interference transmitters in the protectorate, nor does the measures of the Reich seem to have a strong influence if one does not decide to build large shortwave transmitters. Therefore, it is proposed to shut down their equipment for shortwave reception by means of a technical intervention B9 in the receivers. This can be done by simple means and easily in such a way that repair is not possible without major technical effort, which is only available to a company. As explained above, at least 100 mechanic groups, consisting of 2 radio mechanics and 1 female assistant, would have to be set up in order to carry out practical tasks, for which a large number of radio retailers would be able to use as far as they are concerned with repair work. It is estimated that each group will be able to process at least 2o devices per day, even more, after training, if the devices are brought in by the owners. This corresponds to 2000 devices per working day and a duration of 250-260 days for the whole action, which could be completed by the end of 1943. The action must be organised in close cooperation with the broadcasting industry and the broadcasting trade, and the places with about 1o00 and more radio participants are first covered, the number of which is to be taken from the following compilation.
