Betr.: Czech rally for the 3o.1. in the Smetana-Saal and the National Theatre. The state president Hácha, who was led by the chairman of the government, took part in the rally at the Smetana-Saale. President Hákha made a physically very fresh and mentally active drink. Immediately after his appearance in the lodge, Minister Moravec gave a speech, with conductor Jirak waiting outside in the orchestra, not as planned, but only at the end of the speech on my occasion, Opee. It had been necessary for him to be in op in time to conduct the two hymns immediately after the speech was finished. Minister Moravec, who was annoyed that the conductor was not inside in good time, no longer waited for his appearance after the end of his speech, because, as he told me, it would have been embarrassing for him to stand there that minute. As a result, he no longer stayed in the gallery during SON's performance of the two hymns. It is an obvious negligence of the conductor, who could finally read in printed program that the hymns are played immediately after the speech. DeT During the break, the president's chief storm leader Dr. Schmidt as a representative of Minister Bertsch TOV and at the same time informed me that he would like me to be notified to the President of the State, the head of the Supreme Prize Authority, Mr. v. Busse, because he was equally entitled to the ministers. I refused to do so with the remark that it would be desirable to leave the ministers alone with the President of State and that this was not provided for in the programme. However, while I was still talking to Dr. Schmidt, Mr. von Busse, who had himself registered, was led by Dr. Škarvan to the President's salon. Mr Schmidt, as a representative of the Minister Bertsch, said that Mr Popelka had Mr von Busse brought in, so it was not possible to bring in the representative of Minister Bertsh.
