Feb. 1942 SSEJTCUOE Preliminary result of investigation -99 on the fraud-trading case against the servant of the hotel "Opera" This case has been dealt with since 14.2.1942 by the officer of the inspection service at the Ministry of Agriculture, Mr. Reuter. Mr Reuter gave me the following description in this case: On 13 February 19942 two suitcases of 26 kg of beef were held at the Hibernerbahnhof in Prg by customs officials. As the addresses were incomplete and partly unimportant, the customs authorities first tried to identify the recipient. Since their surveys were negative, the further processing of the case was transferred to the D0n US inspection service of the Ministry of Agriculture in Prague. On 14.2.1942 the servant of the hotel "Opera" tried to pick up the two suitcases. He showed the required baggage certificate R11S, which he had received from the operator Marie G r e g o r o v a. The Gregorova is employed as an operator in a tailor's shop with a monthly income of 300 kroner. Further surveys of her person showed that she is pre-punished for theft and leads a debauchery of the nightlife in expensive restaurants in Prague, among other things she is supposed to be in the hotel "Alcron". After her striking clothes and her whole way of life, she makes the impression of a dirne. In her interrogation, she admitted, after a long denunciation, that she had received crowns from the director of the Alcron Hotel in Prague at the beginning of this month for the purchase of meat.The shoe manufacturer Ludwig O n d r o š e k from Premyslowitz helped her with the procurement of Pleisches. Both went to Premyslovice, where Ondrošek procured the meat from a previously unidentified butcher from the village. 40 crowns were paid for the Kålogramme beef.
