Since Mr. Ledig lacks the necessary funds to acquire the company, the Continental Iron Trade is A.G. Prague, ready to provide him with the necessary amount as loan. In the loan agreement, which is drawn up in agreement with the Lord Reich Protector, only control rights relating to the repayment of the amount made available would be included. Mr. Ledig therefore remains completely independent in the management of the company, in particular the Continental Iron Trade A.G. It is therefore not a camouflage by which the independence of the individual dealer in favour of the lender would suffer a loss, but rather a solution which is fully based on the National Socialist idea. The requirements of the acquirer necessary for the Aryanization of an enterprise: l./ self-employment, 2./ professional suitability, 3./ necessary capital power, are available to Mr. Ledig on the basis of the above allegations except the necessary capital for the acquisition of the company, which, as already mentioned, is made available to him by the Continental Iron Trade A.G. as a loan. This arrangement has been discussed in detail in an interview between Secretary of State F r a n k and Director-General P l e i g e r and has been recognised as complying with the guidelines of economic development in the Protectorate.
