Cing.: 1X. FEB.1941 Tgb. Nr.: HEES 1 Subject: Donation advertising of the lo8/-Sta. in Prague. Reichsschatzmeister KV Dr.L/Ste.v.l7.l 41 To the State Secretary 4-Group Leader F r a n k Prague. Dear comrade Frank! I have informed the Reichschaschmeister of the contents of your letter of l3.l2. He wrote the following letter: 71 I have taken note of your writing of 19 December 194. I have a great understanding of the need for the support of scattered Germanism in the Protectorate, for which, however, funds of the Empire would first of all be required. However, if further financing on the Vege vön collections were to be considered essential for the completion of the tasks, a request for permission would be made to me. As I have already stated in my Schrel&en\ of 26 October l940, although the collection law of 5 November l934 has not yet been introduced publicly in the Protectorate, it is true that the NSDAP departments, the divisions and affiliated associations in the protectorate have adopted the collection regulations of the N SDAP. July 4th l935 just like in the empire, in the integrated eastern regions, Gau Sudetenland etc.. I have to put particular emphasis on the fact that in the protectorate not moods and annoyances are caused by own-powerful collections. Nor can I agree with the fact that the use of the amounts collected without authorisation will be deprived of any control. I therefore ask Secretary of State 4-Group Leader F r a n k to inform in this sense and to ask him for the future to comply with the collection regulations.
