8 April 1941. EV. Hö. St.S. 113/81/41. 1. To Minister J e ž e k, 8. IV. 1941 Prague. Dear Minister! In the letter of 19.3.1941 - sign St.8. 81/41 I had asked you not to take further measures to introduce acoustic warning signs and blue markings for police service vehicles. The final review of the matter has led to the conclusion that the blue identification light will be re-registered for such vehicles intended for use in air protection purposes and which have their location in cities with an air protection degree. In this respect, only vehicles which are necessary for the purpose of equipping the public service, e.g. vehicles of the police, fire brigades, the medical service or detoxification services, may be involved. I ask you to proceed accordingly and to submit your instructions to me for submission before they are issued. I cannot agree with an introduction of acoustic warning signs for the reasons you have been told. - 2-K-28
