Prague, 18 September 1942. THE PRIMATOR-STELL REPRESENTATIVE Mr. THE MAIN STATE PRAG State Secretary, SS Group Leader G.Z.1126 /42. T Karl Hermann Fr a n k , Prague IV, i a.Czerninpalais. 10p0-s (n bch)nutageer K. Einç 19. SEP. 1942 Very esteemed Mr. State Secretary.! As I was informed, the building of the former French embassy on the small side will soon be rented by the German Consulate General. Now we have been looking for a worthy accommodation from the city of Prague for a long time for the "planning commission for the capital Prague and the surrounding area", without having come to a portable conclusion. The planning commission, whose importance for the further expansion of Prague I need not lose a word about, is currently on the top floor of the new office building of the Town Hall on Marienplatz. However, in the course of the reorganization of the Prague city administration which has been under attack for some time, these rooms are urgently needed for the reconstruction and concentration of the tax office, which is already occupying the other floors of the house. Until now, we have not been able to carry out the long-planned confiscation of the individual financial departments at the Prague magistrates' offices in the central office, because there was a lack of space. Only through this regrouping would it be possible to save a very considerable number of forces. The prerequisite for this is that the planning commission is accommodated in the direction of the future. The building of the former French embassy would, according to the spatial and representative side, fully meet their needs. The city would therefore be willing to rent this building. St. S.TH-M142
