Karlovy Vary, the Chief Finance Minister, in whose district the letter in question has been opened (I am adding the envelope again), has informed me: "The posts from the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia to the rest of the Reich and the posts from other Reichsgebiet to the Protectorates are subject to the customs foreign exchange inspection. From the foreign exchange inspection both at the entrance and at the exit, among other things, mail sent to Reichsdeutsche by the Secretary of State and General of the Infantry (also General of Artillery etc. as well as Admiral of the Kriegsmarine) are upwards.
