1a I was entrusted with the office mentioned above and had to take over the office on 1 June 1942. Prior to my assignment, I was required to be appointed Chief Director for this year's term of office. Of course, I had to consider this assurance of a Reichsamt as binding, all the more so as the one I demanded before my assignment and C ./. On the other hand, on July 20, 1984, I was reminded of this by an appropriate request. I have undoubtedly demonstrated the suitability and probation required by me and had already demonstrated it in the Austrian Post, in the world war, in Czechoslovak administration, as the party-faithful head of the telegraph office Reichenberg in the year of liberation and finally also in 4 years with the Deutsche Reichspost as department head and deputy head of office of the telephone office Reichberg. Unfortunately, I had to learn the other day that my appointment had to be postponed to the future year. - Under the most difficult conditions, 19639 on June 1, 1962, during the state of emergency, I took over the main telegraph office in Prague with around 400 members, among whom there are only four German D ./. The awareness of being able to act successfully in the Grossdeutscher Vaterlande - (see transcript of a difficult letter) - on important and volcanically expo- nated place, fills me with pride and high responsibilities. The fact that I would have needed a very special foundation of my authority when considering the Czech psyche, in order to cope with my various official activities more easily, in association with an extensive teaching activity in the oral and written German expressions of thought and not least in view of the great following state, does not require any further clarification.
