Eing.: 17.FEB.1942 Dear Mr. Oberregierungsrat ! In reply to your above letter I inform you that SS-Oberscharführer Bollhorst was informed on the express issue of the military registration office in Prague that his winter semester 1941/42 could not be counted. After a further examination of the matter, despite the conflicting legal concerns, the university has recognized the winter semester 194l/42 as valid to the SS-Oberscharführer Bollhorst, since he has validly enrolled this semester and according to his information also participated in the lectures. On the other hand, on the basis of the decree of the Minister of Science, Education and People's Education annexed to the Annex, the University is of the opinion that the Law of the State of the Federal Republic of Germany should be amended. August l941 not entitled to allow SS-Oberscharführer Bollhorst from the summer semester l942 onwards to continue his studies, as long as he is still employed for his service UK and the prescribed decree of 15.8.194l still remains valid. I would advise SS-Oberscharführer Bollhorst to send an application to the Minister of Science, Education and Education of the Reich, describing his case for the grant of an exemption from the approval of the decree of 15.8.194l, as far as possible already on the official route through the Dean of the Faculty of Law and State Science and the Rector of the German Karls University.
