3 CENTRAL MANAGEMENT Prague, 13 February 1942 Z.Pers.I 1240S l.) Note: Jonas has not been informed of the content of the SD report. During his transfer into the civil service relationship of the Reich, Jonas showed an uncertain and nervous behaviour. After the SD-report was received, government official Dröge Jonas asked once if he was still doing SS-service. Without asking about the reason of the Prague, Jonas replied after a short hesitation in an agitated mood: "Yes, I am still in the SS, here is my ID, I regularly see my SS service." The whole way Jonas behaved in this, allowed the conclusion that he had to know something about his non-inclusion into the party and thus about his release from the SS. In statements Jonas later showed that he had learned something from the current leader of the SS standard, SS-Obersturmbannführer Martin. It is not eusschiossen deter that Jonas had a brief look into the files with one of the officers who had the matter for processing at an unattended moment. Oe N62. 2.) Mr. State Secretary by the hand of Mr. Under-Secretary of State ↓ obediently submitted with the request for knowledge. V M
