n0 Prague, 12 May 1941. 8 G.R. with 1 folder I fer: lae foay be fre dis la der Jae boldntes Q.ae 1.. sent to the SD section Prague, Tyy bai tevw bin Prag, 00m 3HM9 WA/C with reference to the contents of the folder. #-Group leader Frank wishes immediately a call report about the administration secretary Jonas - bearing in mind that Jonas entered the foreign service of the Czechoslovak Republic in 1930 as a national interpreter. The process would be so unusual that despite Jonas' assertion that he had always acted correctly in national terms, the suspicion of intelligence activity had to be expressed as a follow-up to the German Empire. The suspicion is reinforced by the fact that Jonas was a textile specialist by house and had been employed at the embassies in Bern and Moscow, well-known centres of post-war activity. The W-section XXXIX is informed that Jonas's investigation has been initiated. Heil Hitler! gez.Gies D-57/4igek 4-Obersturmbannführer.
