To the Prime Minister inP_r_a_e Subject: Dismissal of employment and promotion; dismissal of married female officials; prohibition of the admission of married women into the public service Reference: Neighborhood: - - As I have repeatedly stressed, this is in accordance with § 3 of the Government Decree 379/38 as amended by my regulation of 30.12.1940,VoBlRProt. 4l Page 7 Further recruitment and promotion restrictions do not apply to German state nationals.However, the legally prescribed route must be observed for the recruitment or promotion of German employees. I would also point out that Article 6 and the following of Government Decree 379/38 on the termination of employment or retirement of married female staff are not applicable to nationals. Similarly, § l6 of the above-mentioned regulation does not apply to German nationals in respect of the prohibition of the admission of married women to the public service. However, in these cases too, the legally prescribed way of granting the exemption must be complied with.
