There is agreement among all the services in question that a U.K. position issued during the war must not be taken as a reason to remove the person concerned from the list of reserve officers candidates. The military staff have been instructed to cancel any deletions from the reserve officer list, which were erroneously ordered on the occasion of a UK position. The Wehrmacht is of the opinion with you that the officials who have to remain in active military service during the war, because of the fulfilment of important tasks of war, must not suffer any other disadvantages from this fact.
