GERMAN UNIVERSITY AUGENCLINICS PRAG. Prague, 26 January 1940. PROF. DR.J. KUBIK. Office of the Secretary of State ben Reichsprotektor in Bohemia and Moravia. Eing. 30 January 1940 Tgb. No. 702 High Honored State Secretary ! My assistant, Dr.Zettl, has sent me your wish to be informed about the condition of Mr. Krompholz, who is a gogendist patient of my clinic. The condition of both eyes has improved to a large extent, the visual acuity of the left eye is now perfectly normal, even on the right. more seriously ill eye veryeite the reparative processes continue satisfactory. The last cause of the eye disease is, as you, Mr. State Secretary, has already been informed, to seek in a certain weakness and falsity of all organism. Our current endeavours are aimed at attacking here at the root of the disease. The increase in weight and the strengthening of the heart's strength should guide us on whether we are successful with our efforts. However, on this point I am not satisfied yet, even if the improvement of the overall state which has already occurred is not to be overlooked. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to completely eliminate the poles of years of procrastination. However, I am convinced that, under favourable external conditions and in the case of remote confinement, full work ability can be achieved and can be maintained. Heil Hitler ! Def. iy COmT
