After preparations were made on 17.9.1942, Czech immigrants were arrested throughout the Protectorate. In Bohemia, 1,466 people, including 642 men and 824 women, were recorded in Moravia, 1,178 of them 592 men and 586 women. Parents, wives and children over 16 years of age were arrested by emigrants. Siblings were included to the extent that they were the only tangible relatives or still living in the household of the parents. Excluded from the feast were seriously ill people, visibly pregnant praws, armament workers, miners, war or work invalids or those who have acquired German nationality. On 21st and 22nd September 1942, local residents from Bohemia were transferred to the Swatoborschitz internment camp near Gaja, which was set up by the Protectorate authorities, by means of special BMB trains. The residents were heard here by a command of the State Police Department in Prague.
