18 Radio London, 9 October 1992 Czech, 1 8.30 pm. "Open the Czech universities! In mid-November, i.e. in 5 weeks, the penalty period of three years, during which the Czech higher education institutions were closed, ends. 5 weeks is a short time to meet the preparations for the new beginning of the lectures. But we are convinced that the Ministry of Education and People's Culture will do everything in its power to get lessons started again in mid-November. On the basis of Moravec's remarks, we cannot imagine that the "comrade and fraternal people of the Germans", as he used to call it, wanted to deprive the Czechs of the possibility of higher education. We are convinced that our "great brother people" will liberate the incarcerated teachers, students and professors. Our leader will be able to convince the "great leader of the German Reich" that it would be a crime to deprive the Czech people of scientific and artistic training. If, on the other hand, Mr Moravec should be the personal opinion that the Czech people are not mature enough for political activity today, it cannot be denied that 600 years ago, the Bohemian King Charles IV seems mature enough to give him the first university in Central Europe. From it, countless scientists and political leaders emerged. So we expect that the Ministry of Education and People's Culture, with the help of the great fraternal people, will prepare everything for the reopening of the Czech high schools. Moravec always says: "Take your stand with the Germans as they should. They are your brothers. They will reward us for this." We know what this fraternity looks like. The example of Cain and Abel stands warning before our eyes. Cain killed Abel, But Cain ended like a dog. And the sign of shame remained indelible on his forehead.".....
